found 440303 3.0.1-1 thanks I had this bug with Iceweasel 2.<something>, but never quite got around to reporting it. It's biting me again with Iceweasel 3.0.1-1, so I figure it's time to prod this a bit. I'm running an Intel chipset using xrandr rather than Xinerama, so it's not *quite* the same as the original report, but I suspect that it's all part of the same problem.
