I also see this and went through the -x thing, before actually seeing
the bug in the BTS. However, I have the following error:
# /usr/bin/dbus-send --session --dest=org.freedesktop.PowerManagement
--type=method_call --print-reply --reply-timeout=2000
/org/freedesktop/PowerManagement org.freedesktop.PowerManagement.Hibernate
Failed to open connection to session message bus: Did not receive a
reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a
reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply
timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
However, the daemon is running: (from ps ax)
/usr/bin/dbus-daemon --fork --print-pid 5 --print-address 7 --session
I have not pasted more output as it is mostly similar to what others
have reported, however please let me know if you require any more info.
