This is wishlist more than bug (check the loopback base device).
I decided to restore from backup - the FS somehow returned to it's
pre-resize size! I decided too many things went wrong to risk it, although
an fsck worked perfectly fine on it, with no errors.
Something I was wondering, shouldn't fsck have noticed the backup
superblocks didn't match the main one regarding fs size?
(I assume the size is stored in the backup superblocks, and that resize2fs
changed them, and that umounting the fs doesn't affect the backup blocks.
Although, why did umounting rewrite the superblock regarding fs size?)
