Package: iceweasel Version: 3.0.1-1 Severity: important I run Lenny on several different machines, so it was very confusing when the same version of iceweasel would run perfectly on all the others and simply refuse to start on this one. I eventually tracked down the problem to ~/.mozilla - on this machine that dir had restricted permissions (700). When I changed them to 777 it worked fine.
I *think* the problem is that I started konqueror on this machine before iceweasel was installed. Usually I install iceweasel immediately, before running anything. Not certain though - will have to try and reproduce this next time I install Lenny.
