... and adds a duplicate PNG file when an XPM already exists.

However, the mere presence of the PNG isn't the complete solution. The
main window doesn't show. I'm checking on the reasons. It might be that
gpe-mixer needs dependencies on the rest of the GPE packages or has some
problem with an existing mixer (like gnome-alsamixer).
