Package: molly-guard Version: 0.4.4-2 Severity: wishlist Recently we had an incident that went something like this:
<sysadmin> otherdude: crossing fingers and rebooting now ... <sysadmin> bugger <sysadmin> shutdown -r would have been much better than shutdown -h <sysadmin> and it's at #%^ (remote datacenter) So I thought that molly-guard would be a great place to perform the following check: If the server is setup to be "reboot-only" then molly-guard would ask users that "shutdown -h" would have to type "halt" to confirm that they really want to halt the system. Would the current script API be flexible enough to allow for a new script to test for this condition (and test whether we're rebooting or halting)?
