It works a bit better. But there are a lot of glitches in the stream and when
starting to play the movie from the menu, vlc crashes...

At this point i'm not sure if this is another issue (potentially with
vlc).. It might be that dvdnav/dvdread spit out a slightly damaged mpeg or
somesuch.
