Depite the uvc driver going in to 2.6.26, the linux-uvc package is still useful for people running older than 2.6.26 kernels. Even if kernels older than 2.6.26 won't be shipped in lenny, people may choose to remain on pre-lenny kernels. Or people may want to backport a newer version of linux-uvc from unstable to use with the lenny kernel as bugs are fixed or new cameras supported.
