Hello, Since we upgraded our workstations to 3.1, all users of xfig+latex exporting their fig documents to latex/pstex files have the 'mn' letters appearing in the dvi or ps documents.
This is not a problem of not including the color package (which we do), cf. this thread: http://groups.google.fr/group/comp.text.tex/browse_thread/thread/49275678e341adb/5da05e616b8b65ea?q=\mddefault+xfig&rnum=1&hl=fr#5da05e616b8b65ea One student found a workaround, by resetting the values of \updefault and \mddefault in their documents like this: \def\mddefault{} \def\updefault{} But this is only a workaround, not a real solution...
