I would be happy to NMU right now if that is convenient for you.

I could build the package, test it, and send all the files (including the 
signed .changes file) so that you can do the upload to approve my NMU.

Alternately I could build a package with your name in the changes file, you 
can give it extra testing and sign it yourself once you are happy.

I'd like to do whatever it takes to get this in unstable quickly.
