Package: gkrellm Version: 2.3.1-7 Severity: normal I have a custom mailcount program [which basically ssh's to my server and counts unread mail]. This has worked fine for years on gkrellm but lately I find it doesn't poll it any more. It asks once on startup, gets the right number displays it. Then it doesn't bother checking any more, so now I have a permanent "9" spinning away. If I stop/restart gkrellm, it'll go back to 0, but then won't notice new mail.
I've tried stracing gkrellm for longer than the recheck interval; didn't see it fork() once. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.25.nim Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages gkrellm depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.22.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.7-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.6.4-6 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libgcrypt11 1.4.1-1 LGPL Crypto library - runtime libr ii libglib2.0-0 2.16.5-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnutls26 2.4.1-1 the GNU TLS library - runtime libr ii libgtk2.0-0 2.12.11-3 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libice6 2:1.0.4-1 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libpango1.0-0 1.20.5-2 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libsm6 2:1.0.3-2 X11 Session Management library ii libx11-6 2:1.1.4-2 X11 client-side library gkrellm recommends no packages. gkrellm suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
