After starting the openafs server, /var/logs/openafs/BosLog had
complaints about various file permissions. Each time I fixed one,
the next would pop up. Here are the sequence of messages:

Fri Jun 10 15:32:01 2005: unhappy with /etc/openafs/server which is a dir
that should have at least rights 755, at most rights 775 , owned by root
Fri Jun 10 15:32:12 2005: unhappy with /etc/openafs/server-local which is
a dir that should have at least rights 700, at most rights 770 , owned by
root

Fri Jun 10 15:32:46 2005: unhappy with /etc/openafs/server/KeyFile which
is a file that should have at least rights 600, at most rights 770 , owned

I fixed these with the commands:

    chmod 755 /etc/openafs/server
    chmod 700 /etc/openafs/server-local
    chmod 600 /etc/openafs/server/KeyFile

Best,

Steve Simmons
