Subject: nfs-common: shutdown nfs problems
Package: nfs-common
Version: 1:1.1.2-6
Severity: important

On shutdown nfs is stopped in a wrong order and the machine stays there
forever:
nfs: server blahblah not responding, timed out

If I make a symlink in /etc/rc0.d
K19umountnfs.sh -> S31umountnfs.sh
the shutdown powers off the machine as it should.
(I still get the message once or twice.)

AFAIK the problem is that nfs-common is stopped before unmounting nfs
filesystems.

"There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to
make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the
other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious
deficiencies. The first method is far more difficult."
