before update I had 5.6+20080920-1, after update 5.6+20080925-1... which
effectively fixes my crash.
good (the 20080927 update will fix a smaller bug in the same area, but I
expect 20080925 will fix all of the current reports)
orphaner now reacts again the way I'm used.
