While translating the file anon-proxy, I encountered the following typos, which I thought you might like to eliminate in a future release.

To surf the web anonymously you have to make your browser using the proxy
server. For graphical browsers like mozilla or konqueror you can easily
configure the proxy information using the graphical setup dialogs.

"you have to make your browser use a proxy server."

Note the double space between 'the" and "proxy" in the original string.

Shellbrowsers like lynx or w3m use the environment variables http_proxy and
HTTP_PROXY. If you want to I will set these variable globally in /etc/
environment. In this case I'll remove it when this package is removed.

Two variables, so you need the plural noun again: variables:

"If you want, I will set these variables globally..."

Note the double space again between "these" and "variable".

In the last sentence, to which noun are you referring with "it"? If you are referring to the variables, I would suggest:

"If you want, I will set these variables globally in /etc/ environment, and also remove them when you purge this package."

Original: ⌘0 Execute \"/etc/init.d/anon-proxy start\" to manually start the proxy.

Another double-space. Very strange.

It would be more natural English to say:

"You can run \"/etc/init.d/anon-proxy start\" manually to start the proxy."

It's best not to split the infinitive verb form: to start, to stop, to configure etc. Describing words should be either before or after that verb form, not splitting it apart. You will hear the incorrect form in conversation, but it is definitely incorrect in writing.
