Package: sysklogd
Version: 1.4.1-18
Severity: normal

/etc/cron.weekly/sysklogd does not restart klogd after rotating
log files. This prevents klogd from logging subsequent kernel messages.

Adding the following line to the end of /etc/cron.weekly/syslogd
probably fixes the problem (not tested):

 /etc/init.d/klogd restart > /dev/null.
