Package: tightvncserver Version: 1.3.9-4 Severity: normal Hi,
Xtightvnc (the server) tries to write log messages into "/usr/adm/X{DISPLAY}msgs", then falls back to "/dev/null". (See the "ADMPATH" macro in "osinit.c" and its "Imakefile") May I suggest to use "/var/log/" directory.
