Package: util-linux Version: 2.12p-4 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Hi, After upgrading to sarge from woody I find that the blinking text mode cursor is absent in all but tty1. tty1 works fine though. I am filing this as a grave bug as it makes it very difficult to edit documents in the absence of this cursor even though gpm works fine on all virtual terminals. I am not sure what further information you would need but would gladly do so. b thomas -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages util-linux depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libncurses5 5.4-4 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libuuid1 1.37-2sarge1 universally unique id library ii slang1a-utf8 1.4.9dbs-8 The S-Lang programming library wit ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
