I can do so, if I have it until Tuesday morning. After that, I'll embark
on a two weeks business trip to places where I am unlikely to be able to
connect my laptop to the internet.

However, unless the affix files are empty again, I would be confident
that it resolves this issue.

BTW, there was another minor annoyance, before this bug occurred: Some
time ago aspell started to insist on the use of the letter ё (yo), which
is optional in Russian. E.g. it marks "отчет" (otchót, meaning "report")
as wrong and insists that I write "отчёт".

In written standard Russian the dots are usually omitted and used only
in case of ambiguity. E.g. всё (pronounced "fsyo", meaning "all",
singular, neuter, nominative) vs. все (pronounced "fs'e", meaning "all",
plural, all genders, nominative).

In almost all other cases, "е" is used instead of "ё". Now, when I use
an old affix file, of an older version of the .deb, from
snapshot.debian.net (which I did, when I noticed that the affix files
are empty), "е" is accepted. The latest functioning version of aspell-ru
insists on "ё", even though this is not in line with contemporary
Russian orthography.

Thanks,

Johannes
