Shouldn't we make destar conflict with python 2.5?
No that would just make the package uninstallable. If the package really can't be used with python 2.5 then it should
explicitly depend on python 2.4 and be modified to explitly use it.
However in general using an earlier version of a compiler or library to work arround a bug should be regarded as a
last resort soloution.
