Did you confuse this with some other package? Because your NMU announcement
said:

Schedule:

Monday, October 06, 2008 : send the first intent to NMU notice to
                 the package maintainer.
Tuesday, October 07, 2008 : send this notice
Monday, October 13, 2008 : (midnight) deadline for receiving
translation updates
Tuesday, October 14, 2008 : Send a summary to the maintainer.
Maintainer uploads
                 when possible.

There are no recently closed translation bugs in the bug tracking system, but
(in addition to Finnish) a swedish translation which is still open.

Cheers,
Edu
