I'm afraid that you misplaced the fr.po file in the last release of k-p. This was was meant to be a translation for manpages, to be used with po4a (though I'm not sure that the po4a setup is complete in k-p...Nicolas will tell us more). So, placing the file in kernel/po is incorrect. There, should be a file with translations of the templates used by k-p....with 49 messages. I think it's now better to reopen that bug report. --
