Hi,
another old bug I seem to have overlooked...
Btw. are there any plans for a new release in the foreseeable future?
Otherwise I'll just upload a new package with this patch to Debian to
allow the Hurd folks to build it (and maybe also pull some more fixes
from CVS while I'm already at it).

Package: patchutils
Version: 0.2.30-1
Severity: serious
Tags: patch
Justification: no longer builds from source
Current version of patchutils makes use of PATH_MAX which isn't defined
on some systems (like GNU/Hurd).
The attached patch fixes this.
Best regards,
Chris
