Just to be clear I was using the version that was in sid before I updated to 2.0.0.17-1 yesterday (was it 2.0.0.16-1?) successfully for quite some time. It was only after I upgraded all the packages on my system that needed upgrading that I starting getting the segfaults. The segfaults continued when I backed up to 2.0.0.16-1.
