Yes. We have fixed the bug in upstream SVN since 0.60 was released. We (upstream) can't port it to 0.60 because that's already been released. It'll almost certainly be fixed in a forthcoming 0.61, whatever other content that release has, but we don't have a schedule for that yet. That was a suggestion to the Ubuntu package maintainer (who, FTAOD, isn't me) in case they wanted to fix it without waiting for a new upstream release.
