AFAIK Sebastian's patch was never included in an official package and discussion is still open at bug #495487 [4]. For this reason, I set the severity to wishlist and blocked this bug by #495487 [4]. Rob Sims (cc:ed) already provided a patch for Xglamo [5] and I promise him I'll check with Sebastian Ohl (cc:ed as well) to find a common behavior and preserve consistency between the two X11 servers. However, free time is missing here ATM...
