severity 382222 grave thanks My system do not have a /dev/cdrom any more (udev-based system) and I guess many other users will be in the same situation. So this bug probably renders the package unusable for most users. IMO the package could well be removed from Debian, there are working alternatives available (e.g. jack, ripit) and there hasn't been any activity from Sebastien J. Gross within 3 years while some bugs where opened.
