Package: shorewall-perl Version: 4.0.14-1 Severity: normal
Hi there, When parsing /etc/shorewall/rules, shorewall allows this one: ACCEPT net:something.myserver.org fw tcp 993 but not this one: ACCEPT net:myserver.org fw tcp 993 The error message in /var/log/shorewall-init.log is: ERROR: Unknown Interface (myserver.org) : /etc/shorewall/rules (line 400) For some reason it is treating one-dot FQDNs as interface names, and two-dot FQDNs as normal.
