So? it depends on openjdk-6-jre. That's all you need to run it, it installs in and explicitly uses it to run it, whatever your alternatives setting. I've not tested cacao and it's not supported. I use some fairly complicated reflection stuff which has not been working in the past in any of the non-sun VMs even when they theoretically support that version of the class format.
