The oprofile package description mentions that "for 2.6 kernels, the OProfile kernel module is part of the Linux kernel source and must be built from the 'kernel-source' package." which is no longer true - at least on powerpc: % grep CONFIG_OPROFILE /boot/config-2.6.26-1-powerpc CONFIG_OPROFILE=m Please update that information.
