Some subdirectories are incorrectly treated as a picture.
This results in files in such directories being difficult to access.
I think the bug is with any directory that contains a ".".
Examples I have seen include:
 
    directory name:    treated as:
 
    "a.m"              picture called: "A"
    "p.m. + Opera"     picture called: "P.m"
