Package: brltty Version: 3.4.1-4 Severity: normal Hi,
Upgrading from woody (2.99.5) to sarge (3.4.1) doesn't work correctly: 2.99.5 wasn't able to record the pid of the daemon, so that the /etc/init.d/brltty script of 3.4.1 doesn't find it and hence doesn't kill it. Upgrading hence results to both old and new version running, which garbages braille output. Unfortunately, this is too late for sarge. Maybe adding to sarge r1 a "killall brltty" when upgrading from woody to sarge would be useful?
