Hello bluez people, What I understand from this bluez-utils bugreport ( http://bugs.debian.org/499529 ) is that it is becoming a dh_gstscancodecs bugreport ( http://bugs.debian.org/504837 and http://bugs.debian.org/504840 )
I think it is not wise to hold back bluez version 4.xx for debhelper gstreamer scan codes functionality. Better is to ship a non-perfect version of bluez 4.xx then no version of bluez 4.xx at all. Just do what all healthy free software projects do Release early, release often! For those who might think that a non-perfect package shouldn't be shipped, please consider uploading to experimental.
