Hello, backup and move away (remove) ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok and ~/.kde/share/amarokrc. Or you could try removing some directories from the collection scanner list (it should be some setting in ~/.kde/share/amarokrc). The bug seems to be related to the detection of the directories contents changes the collection scanner is set to scan.
