Mmh, obtaining the po file from the source, translating it and sending
it back to the maintainer is the typical way to translate programs. I
know this procedure from hundreds of projects ...

Ah. OK.
I fetched a list of all!! German PO files from Dennis Barbiers
http://www.debian.org/intl/l10n/po/de page and just used his PO files.
So I don't have to download the source of all Debian packages and don't
need to search for the corresponding file the name and position is not
easy to determine, one can only guess.)

You're right that the file I used is opcodes/po/de.po. Since I found
only one minor typo in this file (but ten of thousands at all) I don't
care much about this. I will analyse this (and Dennis pages) later.
