Package: brltty Version: 3.4.1-4 Severity: normal Hi, this problem exists already for more than 3 years and have NEVER been fixed until now: after someone upgrades to a newer brltty, even if you ask for configuring it by hand or with debconf, the current brltty who is active (and necessary for a blind to be able to run such an upgrade or conf) is not killed, but the new version is started.
This causes a loop as if it should stop - restart - stop - restart - etc at ethernam!!! The problem should probably be in the /etc/init.d/brltty PLEASE fix this ASAP, since this could be a major problem for novices, they will think the distrib hangs, while it isn't. Please once again fix this soon. ThanX very much.
