Hi! The solution is to install virtualbox-ose-guest-source and build the kernel module. Then everything works as desired. Isn't it possible to make this package depend on pre-built kernel module packages? Or at least mention in README.Debian that this package is useless without the kernel module? The "Suggests: virtualbox-ose-guest-source" is maybe a little too decent...
