Package: base-files Version: 3.1.2-0.0.0.2.pure64 Severity: critical Justification: breaks unrelated software

The libc6 package cannot be upgraded without removing other required packages. This makes some 75 packages being hold back from being upgraded and has resulted in the remove of the amanda packages which I need to run the daily backups ... -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.9 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages base-files depends on: ii base-passwd 3.5.9 Debian base system master password ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-19.0.0.2.pure64 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii mawk [awk] 1.3.3-11 a pattern scanning and text proces -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
