Package: mount Version: 2.12r-19etch1 Severity: important
Mounting an NTFS filesystem with for example this command: mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sdf1 /media/usb/ -o users,gid=fuse,umask=0000,silent,utf8,locale=de_DE.utf8 I get an error after each cp/mv operation saying "cannot change permissions on file <foo>". The "silent" option should have taken care of that according to man page. Renders graphical file managers such as konqueror unusable when copying large amounts of files. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-4-k7 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages mount depends on: ii lib 1.39+1.40-WIP-2006.11.14+dfsg-2etch1 block device id library ii lib 2.3.6.ds1-13etch7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii lib 1.39+1.40-WIP-2006.11.14+dfsg-2etch1 universally unique id library mount recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
