Hrm ... I'm not sure if that can be done. It's basically one compiler call that takes so much time (it's mostly busy swapping). Any ideas how to improve that would be very appreciated but I suppose there's nothing we can do about it. I guess, for this specific case, I'll build the i386 package myself and upload it to bpo.
