On an i386 environment, that CPU load would appear on the >iceweasel process itself, blurring the cause of the problem Hi Rob, As you have reported in the last email, probably it's a flash problem. However an amd64 bit version of the player is on the way and it's possible to test a beta version from Adobe's Lab site. I have tried flash both with nspluginwrapper and native 64bit on the same web page (http://www.imp.ac.at/), and IMO your considerations about FF hiding the flash real demand of resources might be true. Using the 64bit version I can see that FF CPU usage grows to 20-25% that is comparable to the values reported for nspluginwrapper. When I leave and close the page and go to another website w/o flash, FF goes back to more reasonable CPU usage percentage. It's just a raw test, but it confirms your point of view. Thank you for solving this "bug", that was not actually a bug in the wrapper. See you Valerio -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
