tag 505031 + wontfix thanks You shouldn't blame clamav for doing what it's supposed to do. If you set the umask as paranoid as that and run freshclam in such an environment you could expect it to honor the umask. See also #414122 for a related discussion and the link to the upstream bug report -- upstream refused to make this configureable.
