Hi, As you know, Sid has im-switch, input method frame work for mainly providing 'default input method' to user, at now. It's very convenience for users if your package provides the im information for im-switch. I've attached a proposed patch, so please check and apply this if that's OK. P.S. 1 New im-switch 1.1 uses 'Recommends: xfree86-common' instead of 'Depends: xfree86-common', so I think im-switcher becomes more acceptable for uim.
