It seems you failed to read my original letter, but pretend that I has not read the docs (which is not true). The solution from README.Debian does not work even temporarily, before checksetup.pl breaks it.
Again: README.Debian: it's possible to reference them by the URL "urlbase"/webdot/XXXX.png. Make sure your HTTP server configuration follow sym-links in `/usr/lib/cgi-bin/bugzilla3` directory. I wrote you: when asking for "urlbase"/webdot/XXXX.png, I get following in apache log: [Thu Aug 07 11:27:46 2008] [error] (13)Permission denied: exec of '/usr/lib/cgi-bin/bugzilla3/webdot/zWJIqlKsv7.png' failed [Thu Aug 07 11:27:46 2008] [error] [client 192.168.38.37] Premature end of script headers: zWJIqlKsv7.png It is easy: all in /usr/lib/cgi-bin/ is GOING TO BE EXECUTED, while IMAGES CAN'T BE executed. I understand that you do not want to fix this bug (well, webdot configuration is obviously rare). But, please, do not pretend that the bug does not exist.
