As indicated in the forwarded mail, I was banned from posting to
debian-release (I did not receive any reply to that mail).

Hi,
In May 2008, I was banned from posting to debian-release. In August, I
realized that my mails to debian-release didn't show in the archives and
asked listmaster to help. Thomas Viehmann replied but eventually got quiet.
In October, as the situation persisted, I reported a bug against
lists.debian.org about my mails to debian-release not showing. The replies
from Thomas to that report confirmed that a private mail exchange from May 15
to May 17 between him and me titled "debian-release posting priviledges"
[sic] which was CC-ed to listmaster was actually a notification from Thomas,
who was then a member of listmaster, that I was banned from posting to
debian-release. I did not receive answers to the questions I asked in my
second reply in this May discussion.
If I understand correctly what Thomas wrote on #501382, I am not supposed to
have received any mail about my ban except those in the May discussion
between Thomas and me. Unfortunately, Thomas doesn't intend to discuss this
issue any further, so I'm not sure.
So, I don't really know what went wrong, but please revoke the ban. Let me
know when this done.
