Package: gimp Version: 2.2.13-1 Severity: important When you quit GIMP while saving an image, the image file can be left corrupt (truncated) without any warning.
How to reproduce: - Make a copy (to avoid real data loss while testing) of a somewhat larger image file (so saving will take a few moments). I tested it with PNG and JPEG images, but it might affect other formats as well. - Open this file in GIMP. - Without making any changes in this or any other open file in GIMP, press save (ctrl-s), then quit (ctrl-q) while still saving. - GIMP will quit without any warning or confirmation (as it does when there are unsaved changes). Saving is aborted in the middle of the file, leaving it corrupted. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [email protected]
