Package: emacs-goodies-el Version: 29.4-1 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch Hi, as of January 26 2008, quack-el has been removed from Debian because it was orphaned by its maintainer. [0] However, quack-el is not unmaintained upstream, and has had four upstream releases since its removal from Debian, and is still the best way to extend Scheme support in Emacs. I would like to request that quack.el be reintegrated into Debian through the emacs-goodies-el package.
The latest quack.el source can be found at http://www.neilvandyke.org/quack/quack.el. I have attached a patch to the debian/ files that integrates quack.el into the package. I would be happy to help keep you informed of new releases and/or provide patches to fix bugs in quack.el if manpower is an issue.
