Package: gtodo Version: 0.14-4 Followup-For: Bug #313218
Hi Guilherme. My apologies for the time delay. Unfortunately the spare time available to me is short. I would wager you are using the 2.6 kernel :) After upgrading to Gnome 2.10, several of my Gnome applications failed with different variations of segment faults. The maintainer of the Gedit package (the other very noticable application failure I had) correctly identified the problem as belonging to another known bug. It seems to occur only in the 2.4 kernel and is caused by a bug in the libc6 library. I have confirmed the Gtodo does work on my system under the 2.6 kernel. Therefore, this is almost certainly the problem. This bug has now been fixed in the experimental version of libc6, but is yet to reach unstable. Looking at the current mirgration from experimental to unstable for the libc6 library, it may unfortunately be some time before this problem is resolved in sid.... I may have to upgrade to the experimental libc6, but I do not relish this prospect on such an important library.
