Package: guake Version: 0.3.1-6 Severity: wishlist Guake exits on Ctrl-Q even if the focus is on the terminal embedded in guake.
There seems no way to pass a Ctrl-Q to the shell or any text-mode application running inside the shell. Ctrl-Q is a very common escaping key, e.g. in all applications with Emacs keybindings. The keybinding Ctrl-Q IMHO should be either: + not bound to exit guake if the focus is on the embedded terminal, + reassignable to some other keybinding, or + removable. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable'), (110, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages guake depends on: ii gconf2 2.22.0-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii libatk1.0-0 1.22.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.7-16 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.6.4-7 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libglib2.0-0 2.16.6-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.12.11-4 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.20.5-3 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libx11-6 2:1.1.5-2 X11 client-side library ii notification-daemon 0.3.7-1+b1 a daemon that displays passive pop ii python 2.5.2-3 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-central 0.6.8 register and build utility for Pyt ii python-dbus 0.82.4-2 simple interprocess messaging syst ii python-notify 0.1.1-2+b1 Python bindings for libnotify ii python-vte 1:0.16.14-4 Python bindings for the VTE widget ii python2.5 2.5.2-14 An interactive high-level object-o guake recommends no packages. guake suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
