I have just reinstalled my box (SunBlade 1000) using the daily d-i build and installed linux-image-2.6.26-1-sparc64-smp_2.6.26-13~testfix.508108_sparc.deb obtained from this URL. After reboot the framebuffer was successfully detected and initialized, and I did not notice any regressions.
